Data of all 6.5 million Israeli voters reportedly exposed


A flaw in an app called Elector, used by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Likud party, exposed data of all 6.5 million registered voters of the country. A report by Israeli outlet Haaretz published on Sunday, suggested the data included personal details of voters such as full names, addresses, and identity card numbers. The report noted the app was used to communicate with voters and it was possible to view and download all data without any special technical requirement or hack.
