Qualcomm teased the first batch of 5G smartphones powered by Snapdragon 865

The chipset maker Qualcomm announced that more than 70 flagship devices will equip the Snapdragon 865, some are already been released while others are still being developed.

Snapdragon 865 present on 5G smartphones

The Snapdragon 865 was introduced December last year, it was anticipated to be prevalent among high-end and gaming phones during the first half of 2020. Samsung, Sony, and Xiaomi already announced their flagship devices which have Snapdragon 865. It was reported that more phones will be powered by this most recent SoC by the chipset maker.

Qualcomm announced on a press release about its flagship SoC while confirming that a wave of upcoming phones will run by it. Not only that, it was reported that some of these phones were unveiled but these are still verified.

  • Legion Gaming Phone
  • Nubia Red Magic 5G
  • OPPO Find X2
  • realme X50 Pro
  • Redmi K30 Pro
  • ROG Phone 3
  • Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra
  • Sharp AQUOS R5G
  • Sony Xperia 1 II
  • vivo APEX 2020 Concept Phone
  • Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro
  • ZenFone
  • ZTE Axon 10s Pro

Qualcomm stated that there are more than 60 devices still in the making that is geared with its latest flagship chipset. The number of announced and in development devices on the Snapdragon 8-series mobile platform has totaled 1,750 designs.
