In China, Honor Band 6 with smartwatch-like design-cue has officially been announced.
Honor Band 6 now official |
Honor Band 6 announced with new design
The Honor Band 6 has a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen with a 194 x 368 resolution and is converted by a 2.5D curved glass. The size of the screen is one of the main reasons why the Band 6 looks more of a hybrid between a fitness band and a smartwatch. It is also wider and thick than its processors. You can customize it with a myriad of watch faces too.
It also has a heart rate tracker, blood oxygen monitoring, and sleep tracking. There's also a specific women's health management system as well. It also features 10 different sports mode with automatic detection. It can also receive notifications and control music playback once connected to your phone via Bluetooth.
The Honor Band 6 is also waterproof at up to 50 meters deep. It is charged via its own magnetic cradle. One charge promises up to 14 days of battery life but can vary according to usage.
China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):
Honor Band 6 - CNY 249 (around PHP 1,800)
Honor Band 6 w/ NFC - CNY 289 (around PHP 2,100)
Pre-orders start in China on November 5 and will start to be available on November 11. A global release was not yet announced though. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
