Apart from the X50 5G that will launch on January 7, realme will also have a "lite" version of the said device.

Realme teases X50 5G Youth (Lite)
On Weibo, the company posted a teaser with a big "Y" icon in the middle which could indicate that it is a phone designed for the youth.
Realme CMO Xu Qi Chase also shared a post on Weibo from a "youth flagship X50 5G" smartphone. Youth Edition phones in China are often marketed as "Lite" phones outside of China which means that it might be dubbed as the "X50 5G Lite" for Global users.
The look and the specs of the handset is still a mystery for now. But we won't be surprised if realme will follow OPPO Reno3's path of using a different chip versus the Reno3 Pro.
To recall, the Reno3 Pro sports the same Snapdragon 765G of realme X50 5G. To keep the cost down, we won't be surprised if the realme X50 5G Lite will carry the MediaTek Dimensity 1000L 5G chip instead.
